About AZI

Arizona Isotopes Science Research Corporation (AZI), founded in 2017, is now doing business as AZIsotopes. It is a radiopharmaceutical production company that offers opportunities for collaborative research. AZI seeks to help improve imagining of diseased tissue by producing a broad range of the highest medical-grade Isotopes—Strontium-82, Germanium-68, as well as Iodine-123 and Actinium-225, along with other medically useful isotopes in demand throughout the U.S. and worldwide. See Products page for more details.

During the past year, AZI completed construction of the initial phase of its new medical radioisotope production and research complex in Northern Indiana. It will expand to include several cyclotrons having a spectrum of energies, supporting laboratories, chemical processing facilities, technical shops, and offices. Operations will provide substantial production capacity to help meet society's growing need for theragnostic radiopharmaceuticals used in nuclear medicine. Opportunities for research and development on new radioisotopes for medical use and improvements in their production or processing are offered in cooperation with scientists at universities and medical institutions.

AZI is addressing the short supply of Sr-82 and Ge-68 by significantly increasing domestic production and minimizing dependence on possibly less reliable foreign sources due to unforeseen global circumstances. AZI’s facilities are dedicated to the production of needed radiopharmaceuticals.

Bunker Hill, IN 46914

AZI is sited adjacent to the Grissom Air Force Base in Bunker Hill, IN, with access to an active airport runway, enabling AZI customers to fly medical radioisotopes directly out from the AZI facility—enhancing value of short half-life radioisotopes. AZI’s current phase of development provides approximately 100,000 sq. ft. of building space sited on 20 acres; subsequent expansion is projected to occupy 100 acres.
